Born for Glory!
You were born to shine with glory. Yes, it is unfathomable. We cannot even start to think about it’s impossibility. But our God majors in the impossible. …to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Christ saved us not only from sin but also for the purpose of bringing us back to glory. We are saved so God’s glory could shine through us. And glory is not just a place we go to, it is the state of the full expression of who God created us to be and to do.
As we move from obedience to a relationship with God , we will do things out of love for our Him. When this happens our glory begins to be expressed. We will be transformed from orphan thinking to a sonship reality; from slavery to royalty. Kingdom Culture is Family- that is, Royal Family. Think royalty. Royalty put value in what they do and who they are because that’s their core values- excellence, honor, loyalty, integrity, righteousness, justice. They DO things from WHO they are.
God’s working in us is to MAKE US GLORIOUS- becoming like Christ. Jesus is the standard of the Glory of God. And remember, He lives IN US. The Glorious One takes up His residence in you in me making us GLORIOUS in His sight then before men. Greatness is more than the things that we do or what we have accomplished, it is WHO WE BECOME. It is the byproduct of the manifestation of our God-given glory within. Greatness happens as we shine in glory. Glory is a state of being that stems from these: Who created you and how God created you to be. But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. You are therefore you do. Heaven declares that as the Truth for us here on earth and there’s no room for excuses.
We fail to shine in glory when we remain in ignorance. And we only shine in the measure of Truth that we believe in. We sabotage ourselves by believing lies from the enemy. Remember the devil operates by deception. Satan will remind you of your fallen-ness when in reality of the Truth you are no longer fallen but are seated with Christ in the heavenlies, you are the righteousness of God IN CHRIST! You have been wired for glory.
All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You.  They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power. Even the whole creation waits for us to manifest His glory and to be manifested in glory. In the Old Testament, God’s glory dwelled first in the tabernacle of Moses and then later in the temple build by Solomon. Now He wants His glory to reside not in a temple made of stone, but in the heart of His sons and daughters.
Glory is not just heaven. Glory is God. Glory is Christ. And that glory is in you. Shine. The whole creation awaits.
